Gloria Filiorum Patres

“and the glory of children is their fathers” (Proverbs 17:6)

Abigail Louise – born October 11, A. D. 2007

Our friends, Lawton and Emily, were blessed with Abigail Louise this morning. Abigail comes from I Samuel 25 and Louise was Lawton’s godly grandmother. Abigail, in Scripture, is first told to the reader via these words, “The woman was discerning and beautiful.” Our prayer for her is that she would be just as the Abigail of Scripture is.

Please pray for them as Abigail was delivered via an Unexpected (to man, God knew) C-Section. She is currently in the NICU and is being monitored. Her breathing is low and Emily was tested positive for Strep B. So they are monitoring her and have her on oxygen currently.

Emily is doing well, from what Lawton told me. They are both rejoicing to the Lord the birth and opportunity they will have to witness their trust in their God who foreknew that all this was to take place.
